Fast, immersive first-person flight
The DJI Avata 2 lets you fly up to an impressive 60 mph — all while seeing the world through the drone’s “eyes.” It’s about the coolest way to fly I can think of.
While you’re up there, you can use the Avata 2’s gimbal-mounted camera to capture crystal-clear 4K video. And built-in image stabilization keeps your video nice and clean while you nail sweet turns at high speeds.
Don’t forget to pick up a controller and goggles
You’ll need a remote controller as well as a pair of goggles to fly the Avata 2. DJI offers a few compatible options (sold separately). You can pair this drone with —
- DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 or DJI RC Motion 3
- DJI Goggles 3
The DJI Avata 2 features streamlined, customizable controls that make it fun to soar through the air at any skill level.
Fly with ease
This mini drone’s cinewhoop-style design is engineered from the ground up for maximum agility, allowing you to capture cinematic footage even while the drone whips around tight corridors or performs acrobatic moves midair. You can flip, roll, or drift with the drone with a single button press.
There are three core flight modes with variable levels of obstacle detection, including a Manual mode designed for advanced pilots that gives you complete control at the drone’s highest speeds. And for beginners, DJI Fly app has comprehensive tutorials to help you get prepped for your first real flight. The drone’s Advanced RTH (Return to Home) feature can even automatically plot a safe course back to you at the press of a button or if the signal is lost.
Create slick videos
You can tinker with your footage directly within the Fly app or use LightCut, a powerful video editing app officially recommended by DJI. LightCut provides real-time previews of your footage, letting you edit on the fly without taking the time export all of your footage. You can generate cool-looking videos with a single tap using powerful AI and a growing range of templates that include sound effects, text overlays, and more.
